Property

All of the designs are owned by Pam Sullivan Studio and all of the website content is subject to copyright and none of it may be used without our express consent. If you would like to use our images for promotional purposes please ask via email. If you have purchased an item and wish to post on social media you may tag by using @pamsullivanstudio. 

Products

All work is artisan made. Variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade products so there may be slight differences from the images on this website. 

Orders

Once we have received payment, your order will ship or go into production and ship based on the estimated lead times on this website. 

Production

Estimated lead times are shown on our website. While we do our best to keep to these times, we cannot be held responsible for delays by factors beyond our control. 

Payment

We accept all payment options offered through PayPal.

Shipping

All shipping costs are included in the pricing unless otherwise stated. Once an item ships, you receive an email with detailed tracking information.

Use of Goods

Advice on how to care for our rugs and throws is available on our website. We do not know the end use of the product, therefore we cannot make any warranty about durability. 

Care

The rugs and throws are made out of mohair. Mohair is a natural material, colors may vary slightly and perfect imperfections are part of the process. 

Cleaning: Handmade mohair rugs offer excellent durability and should last a lifetime if properly cared for. Attend to stains or spills immediately. Mop/Dab the affected area gently using a solution of mild soap and cool water. Dry on a flat surface. Avoid steam cleaning as colors may run. 

Loose fibers: Loose fibers are common in hand made rugs. Trim them carefully with scissors.

Fading and color fastness: Over time all materials will fade in strong sunlight. Our rugs are reversible and it is advised to turn them from time to time. The hand-dying process makes rugs less color fast. 

Odor: The smell of mohair will fade after a week or two.

Abrash: Our rugs may contain a subtle, natural stripe effect, called “abrash”. This occurs because the yarn is prepared by hand, so the thickness is not completely uniform. The yarn does not take on color absolutely evenly when dyed resulting in this “abrash” effect. 

Care of throws: Attend to spills immediately. Mop/Dab the affected area gently using a mild detergent and cool water. If needed, hand wash in detergent specifically made for wool following instructions. Lay flat to dry.

Returns & Exchanges

Since every piece is artisan made and made to order, we do not accept returns or offer exchanges. However, if an item is damaged in shipping, please notify us via email the same day as delivery within 24 hours of receiving the package. Please photograph damage to the product and packaging and include in the email. In the event of not following these steps, Pam Sullivan Studio will not be held liable. 

Cancellations

Please measure your spaces carefully for all rugs, art, prints and throws as there are no cancellations or refunds once an order is accepted.
